Another IDE observation.
In prefs set the IDE to be MDI (not sure if this has any meaning).
Don't use the external editor option.
Now, open a file for edit.
Now, Maximize the child edit window. The window opens to the full width of
the parent (as it should), but the edit region stays the same, with the
scroll bars hanging in the middle of the window. Not very pretty (or MDI
like).
Also:
( Prefs / Debugger / Palm Connection Settings )
Says: "Show Palm OS menu".
Really should say "Show Palm OS menu items", since they no longer get their
own "menu" like they did pre-patch. I initially was confused as to why the
menu was not showing up any longer even though I had that option picked.
Upon installation of the patch, the drive letter in the Emulator path field
was removed, leaving ":\path\path\emulator.exe".
Q: Is there a way to get CW IDE to "Bring up to date" whenever focus is
returned to the IDE? That way, when using an external editor I wouldn't have
to manually perform that every time I edit a file.
