So, along these same lines... Is there something somewhere that specifies what DOES need to get checked in? I'm about to start using a CM tool and would love to not have to figure it out for myself :-) TIA, -Paul Paul A. Project settings are stored in the project file. Nothing in the "<MyProject> Data" directory needs to be checked into your source code control system. -- Keith "Adam Dingle" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> on 04/05/99 02:28:28 PM Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "Palm Developers Forum List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: (Keith Rollin/HQ/3Com) Subject: What's contained in the .stg and .tdt files created by CodeWarrior? I applied the recently released Patch 1 to my copy of CodeWarrior release 5 for PalmOS, and I noticed that the project files which CodeWarrior creates have changed. CodeWarrior now creates a file "CWSettingsWindows.stg", and a file "TargetDataWindows.tdt" whose type is reported as "CodeWarrior Target Info". Regrettably, the CodeWarrior documentation and release notes say nothing about what these files contain. I am working on a shared project with other developers and I need to know whether I need to check the .stg and .tdt files into our repository. In particular, are the project settings which I enter for my project in CodeWarrior stored in these files? Thanks - -adam
