I hear ya.  As hard to believe as it may be for folks like us, I *did* meet
people during my consulting work who never installed *anything* on their
Pilots.  No games, no add-on software, no OS patches, nothing.  When I showed
them some of my add-on software they would stare at me like the Dilbert-PHB
and say something like: "But then there's no more room for addresses, right?"

Bottom line: Even though Palm has proved resistant to add/enhance their
built-in software, they *should* consider increasing the functionality
(besides adding an on-screen contrast control...) to remain competitive
with other small-looking-computer-thingies...
