Here comes my offer to you.

I've developed a program PalmZip, available at http://klyatskin.da.ru
This program allows a user to pack PRC file on a desktop PC to diminish
its size by about 40 percents. Here comes a sample table:

More than 40 percents were saved. About 165 Kb. It's good, isn't it?
To use these files on your Palm you need to install 2kb module calles
PalmZip. It will be activated by itself just after a HotSyc. Since you
have installed it, you can forget about it.
Packed file are absolute the same for PalmOS as its unpacked origins.
Just a prefix "pZ:" is added to their name. When you launch an
application does unpack on a fly.
Current version works only support an application command for
NormalLaunch only. It is not applicable for application who installs
handlers for trap calls. It was designed for application to run, use and
exit.
PalmZip is shareware currently. If not registered an alert will be shown
with a following delay for 7 seconds. I'm not determined for a
registration price and process but I think it will be about 8 USD per
copy.

My offer for you is to distribute your application both in packed and
unpacked files. Or to include in your documentation/manual information
about compatibility with PalmZip. I would like to make PalmZip some kind
of common standard for Palm packed application.
Also no Mac support is now (W95/98 only). I could give you the access
to a part of sources to make a Mac version. Sources for packing
procedures may be published.
We are working for end user. And certainly the possibility of choice to
save Palm memory is a good service for him.
