Amid complaints regarding the rising level of noise in this forum, I
could not help but wonder about its precise charter. Obviously this
forum is sponsored by 3Com, and the stated purpose is: "This forum is
for information about developing applications for the Palm Computing
platform". The primary contributors seem to be 3Com and Metrowerks
employees, who do an exceptional job of informing on technical issues,
but seem constrained when addressing not technical development issues.
There are many non-technical issues and question about developing on
Palm, but since there aren't any 3Com representation from non-technical
areas, I feel ill at ease bringing them up in this forum. Getting answers
to the following would help.
1. - Is this forum strictly meant to address programming issues, or
are larger themes relevant to application development on the Palm
platform appropriate here?
2. - Do alternate venues for discussing Palm based development models
and processes exist?
3. - Is this forum moderated or censored in any way? (I doubt it, but
I have got to ask).
