Correct and not so.....MFC is some-what object oriented...well, in as much as
a language like Ada is..
The first run of what became MFC was more OOP, but the C programmers at the
time wanted to be able to get down to the Win32 crap easier...so they changed it...
It does have the feel of being designed by committee....kinda like PL/1...
