A bit more about the IDE I use with GCC.  It's written by a guy in 
Yugoslavia.  It is written for Windows and looks very similar to 
Visual C IDE.  It's not perfect yet.

It has a built in Resource editor that is WYSIWYG GUI Interface.  It 
creates *.rcp files.  It can build resources and compile resources.  
It can run all the GCC utilities as seperate operations.  It can 
launch POSE directly from within the IDE.

I have tried the Constructor and other Resource viewers and the one 
with PilotMag is the best representation of what the display will 
actually look like.  Although I have not seen the latest one used 
with CW.

It uses project files to keep track of *.c modules.  It has a tabbed 
interface so that you can have all your *.c modules open at the same 
time and switch back and forth between modules.  Has all the cut and 
paste options you might need.

There is a demo (30 days I think) and the registered product only 
cost $20.
