  for us "non" regCode users, maybe they can allow us to provide 
  some "c programs" that generate the code? (call then via
  CGI).

  thats why you dont lock your program fully.. :P

  in my application (LodeRunner) - the user can do anything, the only
  restriction is the ability to save and play more than 5 of the standard
  levels - and i get the registration code to them within 12 hours.
