Hey that's quite interesting, especially for someone like me without
a Mac background.
For GNU tools people, incidently, according the PilRC, the valid range
of user defined IDs is 0 thru 9999. I made a little test program and
PilRC indeed accepted a huge .rcp file (8000+ resources) and build-rcp
"blindly" created a 173k .prc program. Of course, actually running
this program results in a devastating crash.
I found that I was able to successfully stuff 1480 label resources into
my test program (each label just consist of a single letter, randomly
placed on the 160x160 screen) before it crashes. =-) This equates to
just slightly more than 32k worth of resources, and the prc file was
33.3kb. So, about what we'd expect.
I'm not quite bored enough yet to see how many dynamic UI objects I can
create before it dies. =-)
