  i did not say they should charge for the API's! - of course not..
  what i said was that they are loosing money by having it in a
  format which is easially printable.

  if they had a HTML version - people can print it.. but it takes
  THEIR time, hence they will probably go buy the book.

  HTML is free.

  while on the topic - how about unix 'man' files?

  it would be nice to do the following:

    man WinDrawLine

  at my unix prompt.

  i guess for now, we are stuck with PDF (which i personally dont like,
  so i just grep the .h files now - much more effective)..
