[Fawcett, Mitch] In that case you missed David Pogue's hilarious
presentation of three bleeding edge, futuristic applications, that also
happened to be hoax's as he later revealed. A lot of people were furiously
scribbling notes during his presentation because the demo's were so
realistic. I believe Elia Freeman did most of them (if I'm wrong about that
somebody correct me). Voice stress analyzer, video phone and speech
recognition were the apps. One thing that wasn't a hoax was the fact that
he had QuickTime video running on his Palm device, which really was quite
amazing to see. David Pogue has my vote for official standup spokesperson
for Palm computing. His presentations and wit were outstanding.
