I agree that it would be nice to address this at some time.  Unfortunately, I
have a lot more higher-priority things to be working on for the near future.
However, if someone else wants to take a look at adding this feature, I'd be
willing to help them (Poser is Open Source for this reason, you know).

Yeah, I don't even need to try this out to know that you found a problem. After
dismissing the dialog, Poser tries to call Palm OS functions to install the new
HotSync User Name.  But since the device is asleep (as Joe Wronski points out in
his followup), Poser hangs trying to call the appropriate Database Manager
functions.
