Here, the best way is to let the user choose whichever tap invokes the hack.
You might want to look at Desk Accessories, an API that allows you to
delegate the tap detection-hack launch task on another program.

I think the API could be seriously improved, both in functionality and in
documentation, but it is a better aproach than writing a hack - less hacks
means more stability and performance.
