I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. The standard PalmOS apps have the
capability of handling e-mail by syching with your PC desktop program that
does the actual e-mail operation (e.g., Outlook). PalmOS also supports PPP
connections via a modem, so with a 3rd-part e-mail app you can talk POP or
whatever to your ISP's mail server. I have used a Palm modem with Multimail
Pro to connect to my personal ISP and read and answer my e-mail while on
trips. Works great, considering the basic Palm screen and input limitations
(can't wait to get one of those "Think Outside" keyboards).
