experiances with wlan

has anyone else used wireless networking with the palm os?  in particular
handhelds that use the spectrum 24 method of wirelessly networking?  we've
used the spt 1740's but find now with other projects the unit carries a
couple things we don't need (ie, built in bar code scanner and attachable
MSR).  if anyone has any insight with a a handheld with s24 and palm os,  a
link to information would be appiciated.
