I made conduit with creator ID 'EVER' but cannot get it to run. I can
update my Palm
database when I change the creator ID to 'date', 'exps' or something
standard.
I would like some advice or an example (i.e. a simple .prc and Conduit).
The examples in CDK uses the standard ID creator.
I realize that I can register the conduit by CondCfg.exe but when I start
HotSync, the Palm doesn't ask my ID creator. I don�t have question about
the update database, my Palm application is running without a problem. But
I�d like to know how I indicate that my database is to be updated when
Hotsync is called.
The application has 'appFileCreator' = EVER (upcase) and I did a test where
I opened the database with creatorID = EVER in the function
DmOpenDatabaseByTypeCreator ( statementDBType('DATA'), creatorID('EVER'),
mode = dmModeReadWrite) and it didn't work.
Folks, any advice?
