There are a few of these on the Preference panels. While working on some of my apps, I often return to the built-in apps and such for examples of "Palm Zen". I too am troubled by this apparent deviation from the goal of minimizing taps. Does consistency with other controls on the form (i.e. "Beam Receive" option on the "General" panel) warrant use of the popups?
