About this server and its delays

Yes; the server is bogged down.  It was way behind last week, but yesterday
and Friday it was ok, but now it seems to have a fairly sizeable backlog
again. (480 messages in its outbound queue.)

We're throwing away the current machine and its software on Thursday
evening, so just hang on for 48 hours... the new system should be able to
handle much more than our current one does.
