A couple questions, though -

1. Just to confirm - if I retrieve the PPP interface, call
NetIFSettingSet(), initiate dial, exit, and someone else terminates the
dial, if I initiate the dial again, will it retain the interface setting I
previously set?

2. The Palm docs are a little confusing on this point ... is it possible
that there are several instances of the PPP interface at once? In other
words, if I do what LinkDirect does (that is, iterate through the
interfaces until I find one matching the PPP creator code), am I guaranteed
to get the single PPP interface?

3. What happens if NetLib is already open and interfaces are already up?
Will it work if I close them, change settings, and then reconnect?

I'm going to try all this stuff as soon as I can get the Palm modem working
correctly with our PPP service.
