I have a couple of programs that run under PalmOS 3.0 using the old Serial
Manager (the Ser* calls) and the rs232 port. I want to convert them to
use the IR port, with the other side being an IrDA port running the IRCOMM
("serial over infrared") protocol. Is all I have to do just use SrmOpen
with 0x8001 as the port argument? Will that redirect the serial calls over
to the infrared port using IRCOMM, or will it merely send the raw bits over
IR? Is using 'ircm' as the port argument the right way of getting IRCOMM
to work under 3.5?
