That's not a promise that we'll add the feature, mind you.
Its merely my assurance that it will get on the list and be thought about.
I personally think that it would make it easier for developers to use the
NotifyMgr without messing up the rest of the system (under certain
hard-to-reproduce circumstances), and that's a good thing.
