This is to complement my previous message about default access paths in CW6 for
Windows.

I have used the Edit | Preferences menu to create a new source tree called SDK
3.3 which I'd like to use as a default path for include and lib files whenever I
create a new project. SDK 3.3 points to my X:\PalmSDK33 folder.

Then I created a new project and looked at Target Settings | Access Paths |
System Paths. There appeared a {compiler} entry that points to x:\CodeWarrior
which is not what I want. So, I tried to Remove this entry and to Add the entry
that I created previously (see above). I clicked on the Add button and the Path
Type combo box actually displays my "SDK 3.3" source tree name but if I select
it, it points to the current folder not to the one I defined earlier. I have to
manually select the X:\PalmSDK33 folder again. So, defining the source tree in
advance is totally useless.

Since I can't believe that this IDE is so stupid, I'm afraid, I do not not
understand exactly how Source Trees and Access Paths work. And the documentation
is not of any help in that area.

How does the IDE uses a globally defined source tree in a newly created project?

What am I missing?

Thanks.
