I ran into this problem some time ago.  Someone from Palm contacted me and is looking 
into it.  From what I know at this time,
there is a bug in the OS that causes the error when removing an object on a form that 
is not the last object.  The workaround is to
change the object id's so that the object you are removing is the last object on the 
form.  This is a bit of a nuisance but it
fixed the problem for me.
