Thanks for the follow-up.

The situation is this:

1.  User backs up Palm with BackupBuddy or Palm System conduit
2.  User hard-resets
3.  User HotSync's to restore (done by the Install conduit, whether or not
BackupBuddy or the System conduit is the backup conduit).
4.  Application's are now not in the categories they were assigned prior to
performing step (1) above.

To me it *looks* like a bug in the Launcher, but of course I could be wrong
;-)
