(We've been having a terrible problem here with external e-mail, so I'm not
sure if my previous message on this subject got to the list or not.)
While trying to get a feedback slider control to work recently, I discovered
that when you get the ctlRepeatEvent event (i.e., when the slider is being
dragged), there is a new field "data.ctlRepeat.value" in the event structure
that holds the current value of the control. If you try to use CtlGetValue
or CtlGetSliderValues in your event handler, you will get the previous,
pre-drag value of the control -- not the "sliding" value. When the slider is
finally released, then CtlGetValue returns the final value.
I only mention this because this field is not shown in the latest PDF
reference manual, although most other 3.5 features are in there. I was using
the feedback slider in a dialog for adjusting RGB values, and it is nice to
be able to change the color as the slider is being dragged.
