I also was interested in these functions. I have found the StdIOPalm.h and
the StdIOProvider.h in the 3.5 SDK. However, the documentation also
references the StdIOPalm.c and StdIOProvider.c files that should be linked
in to programs which use these functions. These files do not appear to be
in the 3.5 SDK.
