The constructor interacts poorly with revision control in one (annoying)
way. We keep the generated headers outside of our revision control
tree, so that they don't get out of sync with the resources.
However, each time you check out the source for a project, you have to
manually open each resource file and do a "Generate Source". This is a
pain. I'd be most appreciative if a future version of the CW had a
mechanism (perhaps under the Palm menu) to automatically open each
resource file and generate the headers. At a minimum, the "Generate
Source" menu item could do with a command-key so the manual process ran
faster.
On the other hand, maybe I'm missing something. How do other people
deal with this?
