I emailed TRG and asked if the Xircom Ethernet Card was supported and they
promptly replied saying:
> At this time the TRGpro doesn't support Ethernet because of a limitation
> of the Palm OS. This is a problem that should be remedied in the next
> version of the OS so hopefully at that time we will be able to get a CF
> Ethernet card up and running.
Any guys on the PalmOS team care to comment? I know that ethernet cradles
are to available in the US soon so does this mean that the limitation TRG
mention is going to be removed in a flashable upgrade? I think alot of
people are going to be interested in a quick (serieal doesn't really cut it)
LAN connection for palm devices and they are going to want some choice. I
would rather spend my money on an industry standard card than a proprietry
cradle and wait for the format to change.
