In the SDK documentation (chapters 15 and 55 in the 3.3 SDK, and chapters 15 and 40 in the 3.5 SDK) is information on "Standard IO Applications". The documentation mentions four files: StdIOPalm.h, StdIOPalm.c, StdIOProvider.h, and StdIOProvider.c. Searching through 3.5 SDK, I can only find the two header files.
