FWIW, if you want to get at the data returned from the web site, it is
probably better to use the INet services and go to the cache. I'm not
sure that the gadget will even keep around any of the info you need.

have a hunch though, and through our collective minds we can get to the
answer ;)
What I do know: The clipper displays your pqa as a form. You can get
at
this form with FrmGetActiveForm() from your palmcall'ed prc. It has 11
objects, regardless of the html in your pqa.
The objects are (by index)
0 frmTitleObj
1 frmControlObj
2 frmBitmapObj
3 frmControlObj
4 frmControlObj
5 frmPopupObj
6 frmListObj
7 frmGraffitiStateObj
8 frmGadgetObj
9 frmScrollbarObj
10 frmScrollbarObj
Index 0 is the form title set with <title></title>. 4 has a label of
history. 1 & 3 I'm not 100% sure are controls, I couldn't get at them
without crashing the palm and the ControlStyleType is 64 - there are
only 8
enum values for that field.
The real one is the gadget. It is displaying the html, based on the
fact
it's points are 0,14 -> 160,160. But since a gadget's data is free
format,
I have no idea how to get at it.
It would be nice if palm released the source to the clipper. Even if it
is
totally unsupported, it would help us developers out until the standard
apps
(like address book) understood how to fill out a pqa form from their
database. There are also several other uses for this, such as
sudo-cookies
(your prc can have a database) and field validation on the client end
(after
all, isn't that why you really want a PalmScript?).
Also Mr. Patt could enlighten the rest of us...
