I am working on some networking code, and I'd like to do as much as possible with POSE. I know that I can redirect my TCP/IP calls to use my pc's stack, but I was hoping to plug a modem into a com port and have POSE drive that using the Palm's protocol stack. When I try, POSE reliably dials out, but I get the error "Error: PPP timeout (00001231)" during the "signing on" phase. POSE seems to lose interest in the modem, since after saying ok, the connection is not hung up. I am using emulator version 2.1d29. Has anyone done this successfully?
