Just as a follow-up to a recent question on ordering through the discount plan: I ordered a IIIc on March 9 and was told it was on back-order. Even last week they said another two weeks or so. However, I called today and they said that mine should ship out today. If so, that will make it about three weeks from order to delivery. With tax & shipping it came out to $392. I'm a bit uneasy since I've seen a number of posts in the newsgroups about various QC problems with these early units, and many people have had to exchange theirs.
