Database tables?

I'm new to databases in the Palm OS.  What I ideally need to do is create 3
tables and use a conduit to extract them.

However, I've seen no mention of "tables" when reading about Palm databases.
Does this mean I have to create 3 separate databases?

Could someone point me in the right direction?
