There is no solution that that will make you happy and that I am aware of,
sorry.
One thing you could do is allow users to beam your app. :-)
Also, many apps use this routine to set the 'can't beam' bit on themselves...
Are you checking the bit before you set it? A few apps set this bit every time
you run them... this is silly, and makes the problem pretty annoying since the
category is reset every time you launch the app.
