I don't know how kosher this is, but here's one idea: If the bounds of the
control are automatically adjusted to fit the label, you should be able to
determine the space used for the triangle by taking the difference between
the bounds of the control and the width of the label. All you need to know
is the font used by the control so you can measure the width of the label
text.
