This is my first posting to this list. Please forgive me if this topic has
been covered before.
Is it possible for the Palm to transmit and receive infrared
simultaneously? Could it emit IR and receive the reflection of its own IR?
The HP-48 calculator, for example, IS capable of receiving and transmitting
infrared simultaneously. This is used to self-test the infrared port: the
infrared is reflected back from the plastic cover.
