Greetings all - I'm just getting into my CW IDE. I tried to startup the POSEr that comes with the environment but I get a "dynamic heap chunk corrupted error" and POSEr shuts down. I downloaded a ROM image a long time ago. The only one I get this far with is palmos35-dr4-en-nonezdbg.rom. I have a downloaded image from my Visor but that won' t load up into POSE. A while ago I got the latest version of POSE via the Palm Provider Pavillion. I also got the above mentioned ROM click-wrap images. I was able to run that version to some degree, of course I didn't have the CW debugger environment to properly 'drive' the emulator. The one strange thing I noticed was that the date stamp on the POSE that comes with CW is older than the one I downloaded from the provider pavillion. I modified my preferences within the CW IDE to point to the other POSER with the later date stamp. I can successfully launch the (newer) POSER and event start the debug session from within Code Warrior. However, I soon get a crash in POSE with an error message that says "UIAppShell" (Unknown version) reports "DateMgr.c, Line:..., Records left locked in closed uinprotected DB..." Can someone help me with this problem? Is there something wrong with the POSER that came with CW? Is there some other setup that I am not doing?
