I'm hoping someone could help.
I've got a field that should only accept certain characters. (say 0-9 and
operational characters, +-*/= ).
I've got it working such that I detect keyDownEvents and check the character
is a valid one, and ignore the invalid ones. However, if the keyboard was
popped up, the form handler's detection for keyDownEvents don't work
anymore, and via the keyboard any such character can be entered. Is there
any way to suppress unwanted characters from being pressed on the keyboard,
or has there been any other way to work around this?
