You can write data to the databases of applications STORED in ROM(as
long as their databases are in the Flash, like how Memo Pad and Address
Book's databases are), but not to databases actually IN ROM. The only
thing I've ever thought of doing with ROM databases is using them
as backup databases or as my own default preference databases (in the
case that a program's preferences are fiddled with incessantly, or if
the Palm is hard booted).
