I think using RomTransfer, which comes along with the Poser
Palm Pilot emulator, and transferring an image to your desktop
is still probably the easiest thing to do. You would have a
visual representation of the machine...but as you have no time
to write your own hex dump software, (let alone learn all the
Palm API's and concepts of Palm programming, Palm architecture,
etc.), you should probably take whatever you can get. If you
can't track down a hex dump application on www.palmgear.com ,
then you should just get the Poser emulator from
http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/tools/emulator/seeding.html.
I figure you're probably enrolled with the Development program,
since you're posting to the Dev forum.
