NULL modem cable between COM1 and COM2, set Poser up to use one of the ports and your target app/hardware (or Hyperterm) on the other port. Another option is to use a second computer as the target (connected via a NULL modem cable to the first running Poser). Its really no different than connecting two computers via your COM port.
