I know I, for one, want to know how many Bad Developers there are
out there!!! ;)
It is nice to see Palm taking that kind of interest in the developer
community, however...something that you're not going to see out of
Microsoft anytime soon. Even from a sales or marketing standpoint,
it's obvious that the Palm dev community is one of the biggest
selling points of Palm OS, and making the operating system pleasing
to write software for is a concept that is often ignored by the
operating system development community. (At least, I for one despise
writing Win code! It makes me feel dirty...conduits are okay, though.)
And that's why the survey is a good idea (although I think it should
have been handled better by the surveying company...they should have
known that a good number of Palm developers aren't using some Outlook
or some web mail client).
