people)....Palm frowns upon usage of the Mobitex network (Palm.net) for
syncing data.  The bandwidth is simply not there yet.

I had plans of writing a few palm apps that would sync data using the
InteLib over HTTP using XML.  I actually had data going from our SQL Server
to the ToDo database on the palm using this approach.  It worked well, but
then we changed gears to using PQAs and not holding data on the palm.

You can sync wirelessly using Omnisky/PalmV and Aether's ScoutSync.
ScoutSync is comparable to HotSync Server as far as features - and I am sure
in price as well :-(
