Well, your coding is working for me (I get the Alarm sound in the first
listing - PalmOS 2.0 and 3.0 on POSE 3.0a7, tapping on the Find button after
activating in Hackmaster 0.91)
So it must be some subtle bug in the coding that you didn't show (do you
call the original function before or after your coding? how long are the
pointers valid?)
When writing Hacks, it's always a good idea to check the OS 3.0 sources.
Note that, according to the docs, sndAlarm, is blocking on all OS versions,
while other sounds are non-blocking on PalmOS 3.0 or later.
Also note that the digitizer has some inaccuracy (jiggle). Even if you just
tap a point, startPt and endPt might sometimes differ a few pixels.
Now does that make me eligible for the price? :-)
