  no :) there are quite a few development environments. you can program
  in C (using 3-4 different compilers, some onboard), BASIC (using 
  NSBASIC), Java (KVM, Jump, etc) Forth (Quartus Forth), m68k assembler
  (pila) - thats a start.

  i am sure there are others..
