While we're talking about weird problems, I have a Palm V that all of a
sudden out of the blue will start HotSync'ing. It could be sitting in a
cradle, or it could just be sitting on my desk. Given the latter, it
can't be anything the desktop is initiating, and it can't even be (it
seems to me) dirty contacts or something like that. A soft reset makes
the problem go away, but a few days or weeks later the same thing will
happen.
Anyone else seen this? Any explanations? There are no hacks running on
the unit.
