Direct screen/LCD memory access?

Does anybody have experience with direct accessing the screen of the Palm?
Where can I find information on this topic? I want to draw charts (pie and
bar) on the screen, but I do not see enough API functions to do this.

Where can I find more information about this topic? Or is there a library to
do this?
