Richard,
I saw that when testing a program with problem in the main routine that is
called after a soft reset.
My solution that works fine. . .was:
Press ON an off
when the logo apears
Press Up bottom (in the center of the PALM) and hold.
Put a paper clip in the back of the palm (reset).
After remove the paper clip, still hold the up key for more 10 seconds.
You will see the Palm working.
