yeah....actually we use flashpro, the api version to back up all of our apps
automatically.
It may be the easiest way.  I just thought that patches were things that the
masses (not the techies)could download and update their palm's with and that
update would go into flash since flash can accomodate this.  But I guess in
most cases hotsync takes care of patches so no one is worried about it.

  flashpro writes to flash.. and it provides a util for you to move 
  files in or out of flash.. apps in flash survive a hard-reset..
  i dont know if the updates will run from flash tho :)
