If I understand this right ...

Each application must have it's own unique creator ID,
registered with Palm.

If that application creates any secondary databases
(for storing data ;-) then those should also use the creator
ID of the application that created them (why else would
it be called a "creator ID" ?).

Thus the creator ID identifies each database as belonging
to a particular application. Does this answer your question
about "linking respective database"?

For each and every application you must have a unique
creator id.

Each database must also have a creator ID, but it should
be the ID assigned to the application that created it.

That depends upon which tools you are using for
development.

In CodeWarrior (r5), you edit the application settings
(Edit menu, second item from the bottom between "preferences"
and "Version control settings" ... it says "Xxx settings", where
"Xxx" is the name of your application.)

In the Target Settings Panels tree, select the Linker/PalmRez Post Linker
panel. In the Output File group box there is a Creator field -- here is
where you fill it in.
